Thoughts become things? 7. Mind and Meditation

Thoughts become things? 7. Mind and Meditation

Where does the human mind come from?

And is it possible to control that mind with my rational will?

The existing developmental theory of the mind was that human thoughts and emotions were nothing more than a phenomenon that emerged from the combination of nerve cells and numerous molecules. However, with the development of science and technology, new hypotheses that the mind and body exist separately are being proposed through various experiments and theories.

The electron gun experiment (Thomson’s e/m experiment) proved that electrons can be either particles or waves, that is, material or immaterial, depending on the observer’s will.

A hypothesis that the mind is created from microtubules within cells is a quantum physics phenomenon in the brain.

The principle of non-locality states that the mind extends far beyond space.

Quantum Wave Theory, states that the mind affects living or non-living things over a long distance.

The grand unified field theory states that outer space is filled with consciousness.

Torsion field theory, which states that all matter and mind come from outer space, etc…

The results of these studies formed a new perspective on the existence of the mind, and the U.S. government, faced with the limitations of modern medicine, created the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) in 1993 and began supporting large-scale research and development on meditation. Starting in 1980, meditation began to be used to treat various diseases. Western medicine, which has focused on the physiology of the body, accepted the existence of the mind and chose meditation as a means to treat the mind. For thousands of years, we have defined that all diseases come from the mind and have not neglected to look into the mind.

According to what I have realized and experienced, the essence of meditation is to focus on breathing. What all living creatures have in common is that they breathe. So, if you focus on your breathing, you can reach the foundation of life and reach the original state of mind that can be shared with all things, that is, the stage of no selfish thoughts at all. The author dares to believe that this is expressed as “the Holy Spirit came,” “I was awakened,” “I attained enlightenment,” “I became enlightened,” “I attained Buddhahood,” “I went to the other side,” and “I saw my true self.” Humans are beings who receive the energy of the sky through breathing and the energy of the earth through food. Although I am still very unstable, I believe that the reason I came to this life is to get my body and mind in order day by day in order to reach the perfect stage (which I define as the stage where I completely let go of selfish desires).
